Is het eerder niet gelukt om je kind in te schrijven voor het nieuwe seizoen van Meervaart Jong? Vanwege de grote vraag openen we na de kerstvakantie drie nieuwe groepen waar kinderen direct kunnen instromen. Zo creëren we extra plek voor iedereen die graag wil beginnen.

Summer Week 2025 offered children aged 4 to 12 three days full of creativity and fun from 15 to 17 July. They enjoyed a diverse programme featuring theater, sports, nature, workshops and dance, guided by experienced instructors. The activities took place at the Talentenhuis and encouraged collaboration skills, with many new discoveries for the children. It was a successful week and a wonderful introduction to further activities at Meervaart Jong.

Last weekend was entirely dedicated to young talent at the Meervaart Jong Festival 2025! Young talent was very much in the spotlight – and how! The final presentations by our Meervaart Jong creators once again proved that the new generation of performers is bursting with passion, skills and conviction. No fewer than 300 children performed on stage, and the festival attracted as many as 1000 visitors who all enjoyed the many creative performances.

Last Saturday during the preliminary round of Kunstbende Noord-Holland at Meervaart, young talents from across the province showcased their creativity and skills — and Meervaart Jong was there with pride and success!

The final location choice for the integration area of the Nieuwe Meervaart, approved by the college of Mayor and Aldermen in February 2024, is drawing attention. In this M-Talk, we give an impression of how Meervaart views the possibilities of the design and integration of a new building at the corner of Lelylaan / Meer en Vaart.
