Opening hours

Meervaart is open from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 16:30. You can reach us by phone and email from 12:00 to 16:00 via: 020 - 4107 777 and [email protected]. Tickets can be purchased 24/7 through our website. 

We open our doors 45 minutes before the start of a performance in the Blue Hall and one hour before the start of a performance in the Red Hall.
 
For evening performances, this usually means our doors open at 19:15. Please check the performance page for the exact starting time.
 
For children’s performances, our doors open 30 minutes before the start.  

Buying Tickets

Seating in the Red Hall

The Red Hall is divided into even and odd seat numbers. The even seats are on the right side of the hall, the odd ones are on the left. For example, if you have tickets for row 8, seats 11, and 13, you will be sitting next to each other on the right side. From row 7, the hall rises in steps, giving you a good view of the stage, even from the back rows.

Seating in the Blue Hall

The Blue Hall has continuous seat numbers and rises in steps from row 2.

Payment Options

Online

You can pay online via iDeal, Visa/Mastercard, American Express, Podium Gift Card, Art & Culture Gift Card, VVV Gift Card, and VVV Lekkerweg Gift Card.

At the Box Office

At the box office, you can pay by debit card, Visa/Mastercard, American Express, Podium Gift Card, VVV Gift Card, Podium Pass, Art & Culture Gift Card, and Theater and Concert Vouchers.

Booking Fees

For every order – whether you order by phone, online, at the counter, or by email – the box office charges a €2.00 booking fee. This fee applies per order, regardless of the number of tickets.

Delivery Fees

If you would like to receive your tickets by mail, an additional €4.00 will be charged. Sending an e-ticket by email is free.

Cashless Theater

Payment is only accepted by card at Meervaart.

Groups

For group reservations (11 people or more), please contact us at 020 – 4107 777 (Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM) or via [email protected].

Cultural Youth Pass (CJP)

CJP pass holders can purchase tickets for most performances at the box office with a 25% discount. Reservations can also be made by email via [email protected]. The discount applies to one admission ticket per CJP card. The card is personal and intended for people up to 30 years of age.

Group reservations by schools with a CJP Culture Card are possible via standard payment methods, but also via online ordering.

Give the gift of theatre!

We sell the Podium Gift Card at the box office. You can enter the value of the card yourself. More information can be found at www.podiumcadeaukaart.nl.

Ticket sales by third parties

Know where you buy!
It's safest to purchase your tickets directly through Meervaart. For some performances, tickets are also available through official (advance) sales outlets recognized by Meervaart. These include: Nationale Theaterkassa (NTK), ANWB, Ticketmaster, and the BankGiro Loterij.

Please note: it is prohibited to resell tickets to third parties for profit.

Do not buy tickets from unauthorized sales outlets. You often pay unnecessarily high prices, usually don't get a refund in case of cancellation, and we cannot guarantee admission.
