Production interns Meervaart Jong

Meervaart Jong is a versatile place where, in addition to theater, there is also space for dance, production, DJing, and creating visual arts (ages 2 to 15). With teaching locations spread across four different places in Amsterdam West, we strive to give every child the opportunity to discover and develop their own creativity and talent. Over a period of 26 weeks, participants work on a final production, which is presented in the spring during the Meervaart Jong festival.

Meervaart Jong is looking for two interns (vocational & higher education) who will be available for a minimum of 3 days per week for an internship from September 2025 through June 2026. We are also open to research internships. You have an interest in Art & Culture and our target group: children! As an intern at Meervaart Jong, you will be involved in organizing events, including the Meervaart Jong festival, open days, teacher days, Theater after the Dam, and other projects.

Your tasks will include various production activities, such as drafting action plans, scripts, and operational tasks. During events, you may be assigned a coordinating role and supervise volunteers among other responsibilities. Additionally, administrative tasks will be part of your responsibilities, such as maintaining project and student administration, registering students, financial settlements, communication with parents and teachers, and preparing annual schedules. Production Intern Meervaart Studio

Meervaart Studio offers a dynamic and inspiring internship! We are looking for a HBO intern for 3 or 4 days a week.
You will assist with the production, publicity, and programming of workshops, masterclasses, and events. You will have a lot of contact with participants and coaches and keep the website and social media up to date.

During your internship, you will learn everything about organizing and producing events and be involved in every step leading up to the event. Additionally, you will work one evening a week as an evening manager, being the first point of contact for teachers and participants, ensuring that everything runs smoothly in the building. In consultation, you will work on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening.

Meervaart Studio is the place where young people from Amsterdam aged 15 to 26 can discover and develop their creative talents, located at the back of Meervaart. Meervaart Studio provides coaching in music, dance, theater, and media through workshops, production groups, and masterclasses given by professionals in the field. Production Interns Kunstbende Noord-Holland

Kunstbende Noord-Holland is looking for two interns (MBO & HBO) who can intern for at least 3 days a week from September 2025 to June 2026.

Kunstbende is the largest creative platform for young creators aged 12 to 19 from all over the Netherlands, where we encourage young people to discover and develop themselves creatively. To assist them in this, we organize an extensive program with workshops, master classes, a competition, and coaching from our office in Meervaart Studio.

You are a social thinker and good at organizing things. You know how today's youth think, talk, communicate, swipe, and where to find them. You have an interest in Art & Culture and our target group: young people!

As an intern at Kunstbende Noord-Holland, you will be the point of contact for all our participants and work on the production of all activities. Additionally, you will help think of new ways to reach even more young people at Kunstbende, by setting up new collaborations or coming up with online tools for recruitment and assist in organizing the Noord-Holland Kunstbende preliminary round, pre-selection(s), various promotional activities, workshops, master classes, school tours, and showcases.

Kunstbende Noord-Holland collaborates with many cultural organizations and media. These contacts and partnerships make an internship at Kunstbende Noord-Holland valuable and provide a good chance to gain experience in substantive and production knowledge and also to get to know the sector from the inside and out. www.kunstbende.nl

Finally

Meervaart offers you a challenging and varied internship in the theater with a lot of responsibility and different tasks. Within the internship, there is also room for in-depth study and assignments from the course.

For the internship, you will receive a monthly gross compensation of €250,- (based on 4 days a week) and you may attend performances at Meervaart for free. We are looking for interns who can work independently, are communicatively skilled, have an affinity for art and culture, and are willing to work irregular hours (not a 9-5 job, sometimes working on weekends/evenings). An internship requires hard work. We do that too.
