During the preliminary round of Kunstbende Noord-Holland on Saturday, April 18 at Meervaart, our Meervaart Jong DJ participant achieved a wonderful second place. Congratulations, Manu!

Manu receives weekly coaching at Meervaart Jong and works hard on his skills under the guidance of coach DJ Cream. His dedication and passion are clearly evident on stage!
Meervaart Young
At Meervaart Young, it's all about discovering, doing and daring. Whether you're stepping on stage for the first time or already know exactly where your strengths lie—here you have the space to develop your own style.
Over 26 weeks you dive into an art discipline that suits you: from dance and theater to visual arts or DJing. Working with professional coaches, you develop your skills, experiment with new ideas and grow step by step toward a final presentation in the theater at the Meervaart Young Festival.
The classes are accessible and take place at various locations throughout Amsterdam-West, so everyone can participate. It's not just about what you create, but also about the fun, energy and confidence you build along the way.

Kunstbende North Holland
Kunstbende is a national platform for young creators aged 12 to 19, with preliminary rounds in different regions. Meervaart organizes the North Holland region. Young people are given the space to develop their talent in dance, music, exhibition, DJ, film, fashion, language and theater through workshops, coaching and a competition.
