Explosive string music, hip-hop and acrobatic dance.
Stella seems like the perfect wife for John, she is caring, patient, dutiful. In reality, she passively endures her husband's cold and dominant behavior. In their suffocating marriage, she has been slowly erased and her personal freedoms and affection have been taken from her. When her terminally ill husband agrees to a medical experiment in which he is kept artificially alive, the dynamic shifts and Stella sees her chance to reclaim her freedom. In the macabre and humorous production Till Death Do Us Part (or Not), themes such as power dynamics, revenge, and medical ethics are expressed through explosive string music, hip-hop and acrobatic dance.
WijkJury
This performance will also be visited by the WijkJury. This jury consists of a group of neighborhood residents who attend performances in Amsterdam throughout the year (often for the first time). At the end of the year, they crown the best performance they have seen.
