In 'ARTHA' choreographer Shailesh Bahoran explores with six dancers what gives movement meaning. Not the technique, not the form — but the intention behind it. What makes a movement convey something? What gives language its power? 

The six dancers — Elise Richards, Alysha Thompson, Deion Holwijn, Raoul Gravenbeek, Nouel al Idrissi and Skeyenno Talany — stand on stage not merely as performers, but as creators. Their individual stories, their own quests for meaning, form the raw material of the performance. Bahoran's working method starts with content, moves through the body and seeks inspiration; this process is visible to the audience in 'ARTHA'.
