For the sixth edition, Club Guy & Roni invites choreographer Mohamed Yusuf Boss, who was previously part of Club Invites (2022). In addition to his new work, the dancers also present FREIHEIT, a production by Guy & Roni that was originally developed in collaboration with tanzmainz.

In this double bill, two artistic trajectories meet: a new chapter by a returning creator, and a work born from international collaboration. Club Invites thus remains a place where development, exchange, and curiosity take centre stage – for makers, dancers, and audiences.

'WARQAD' is an intimate dance performance about rituals of loss, inspired by Japanese traditions. A journey through time and memories, centred around the question: how can rituals help us let go?

'WARQAD', which means "paper" in Somali, explores rituals that help us cope with loss. Large, fragile sheets of washi paper are used by the dancers as symbols of vulnerable, surviving memories. How do we relate to a world that is constantly fading?

'FREIHEIT' explores freedom and the boundaries we impose on each other.

The production was created in 2019 with tanzmainz and reflects on a world that promises endless choices, yet often feels restrictive.

Every 3 minutes and 22 seconds, space, light, and music transform. The dancers move through constantly shifting boundaries between people and ideas, with the body becoming a place of both liberation and confrontation.

'FREIHEIT' poses one simple, yet sharp question: where does my freedom end and where does yours begin?
