What happens in the space between beginning and end?

In 'Interval' you step into a sensory world where movement, sound and space continuously merge into each other. What happens in the space between beginning and end?

'Interval', the latest dance production by choreographer Joop Oonk, takes you on a journey through time. As the third part of her trilogy on primary dynamics -following 'Tides' and 'Falling'- this production explores time not as a straight line, but as a living, breathing landscape of repetition, shift and change.

You enter a dark space. Slowly your eyes, your ears, your body adjust. From the darkness a universe unfolds in which movement, sound and scenography merge. Dancers move through an environment that responds, where objects come to life at touch and every action adds a new layer to what you see and feel.

'Interval' is about the 'in-between time': the period in which we live, move, adapt and let go. It is a physical experience of transience and growth, the continuous rewriting of ourselves in relation to the world around us.

This production invites you to look differently, to feel differently. To not understand time, but to experience it.

Step in. Slow down. Experience the space in between.
