Harpist/composer Remy van Kesteren announces his new live project 'THREADS'. With 'THREADS', Remy connects his classical roots with his worldwide success as a soloist and the electronic music that brought him to the pop world. 

'After ten years of going my own way, I no longer want to choose between the worlds I know - I want to bring them together. 'THREADS' is my attempt to go deeper and take the audience with me.' The harp, the instrument within which Remy has been considered one of the world's greatest talents and innovators for years, forms the connecting element between all these threads. 

In the performance, Remy uses loops, electronics and his unparalleled virtuosity on his instrument. With light and visual artist Jurjen Alkema, it becomes a true audiovisual experience. 

'THREADS' appeals not only to classical music lovers or fans of contemporary pop music: this performance is for everyone who, like Remy himself, is curious about the contrasts and similarities between multiple extremes. The jury of De Podiumprijs, which Remy won in 2025, described him as 'defining the face of his genre' – an artist who explores and pushes boundaries.
