Break A Leg Dance Battle

Break A Leg Dance Battle

Break A Leg’s mission is to bring dancers together and promote hip-hop dance culture. Over the past 17 years, Break A Leg has grown into an international dance event where dancers and audiences come together for performances, crew competitions, battles, workshops, DJs, live art and panel discussions.

And we’re back on 21 February 2027!

After another year of bringing the dance community together, Break A Leg returns with a full day of dance, culture, creativity and connection.

More information coming soon! We’ll soon announce more about the battles and the rest of the programme. Tickets for audience members go on sale later this autumn!

Break A Leg Dance Battle is made possible by Meervaart, Vince Charming Productions, Gregory Shaggy of Free&Style and Jurskee of Amsterdam Breaking Community.

Places are limited, so make sure your crew is ready as soon as registration opens!

THE WAITING LIST FOR THE CREW COMPETITION IS NOW OPEN!
Registration for the Break a Leg Dance Battle Crew Competition opened today, 5 October, at 11:00 — and the response has been incredible!

We have already received more registrations than there are places available in the Crew Competition.

This means the competition is currently over capacity. We are therefore working hard to allocate all registered crews across the different categories.

We will process all registrations this week and put together the final lineup as soon as possible.

THE WAITING LIST IS NOW OPEN!
Still want to compete with your crew? DON’T GIVE UP!
If you haven’t registered yet, you can still sign up for the Crew Competition. If your chosen category is already full, your crew will be placed on the official waiting list. If a place becomes available, we’ll contact the crews on the waiting list.

👉 REGISTER HERE FOR THE CREW COMPETITION WAITING LIST

Please note that registering does not guarantee a place in the final lineup. There are only a limited number of places in each category, and we have already exceeded our overall capacity.

Your place is only officially confirmed once you have received confirmation from us that your crew has been selected for the final lineup, including the participation fee payable.

Please note: even after receiving confirmation, your participation is not yet fully confirmed. The invoice sent afterwards must be paid within the stated payment period to officially confirm and secure your place. If the invoice is not paid on time, the place may be offered to a crew on the waiting list.
