Break A Leg’s mission is to unite dancers and promote hip-hop dance culture. Over the past 17 years, Break A Leg has grown into an international dance event, bringing together dancers and audiences through performances, crew competitions, battles, workshops, DJs, live art and panel discussions.
And on February 21st, 2027, we’re back!
After another year of bringing the dance community together, Break A Leg returns with a full day of dance, culture, creativity and connection.

• Mega Crews: all ages | 19–40 dancers
• Parents Crews: all ages | | 6–18 dancers | Fun category*

Break A Leg Dance Battle is a collaboration between Meervaart, Jurskee from Amsterdam Breaking Community, Gregory Shaggy from Stichting Free & Style and Vince Charming Productions.
The goal of Break A Leg is to unite hiphop culture. Each year, we organize a major festival at Meervaart, along with a variety of masterclasses, workshops, and battles throughout the year.
