Meervaart Studio Café

Meervaart is a cultural hub for contemporary performing arts in the city. It connects the neighborhood, the city, and the wider world with one another. Meervaart does this as a stage, as an incubator for talent, as a center for leisure activities, as a place for socio-artistic projects, and as a knowledge center for urban performing arts. In the field of spoken word, Meervaart is very active—we offer projects for young people, organize various open mic evenings, and program theater productions where spoken word takes center stage.
