In addition to our productions, Meervaart organizes a broad and vibrant range of activities for children and young people under the names Meervaart Jong, Meervaart Studio and Kunstbende Noord-Holland. For these programs, we are looking for production talents to strengthen our team.

PRODUCTION INTERN SOUGHT MEERVAART STUDIO
Meervaart Studio is the creative hotspot for Amsterdam youth aged 15 to 26. Here they discover and develop their talent in music, dance, theater, visual art and media. From our inspiring spaces we offer workshops, long-term Labs and masterclasses, led by professionals from the field. Members can also visit us daily to work on their own projects.
During this internship you'll be fully involved and get to know the cultural sector from the inside. You'll support: The production, publicity and programming of workshops, labs, masterclasses and events. Contact with participants and coaches. Keeping our website and social media up to date. You'll be involved in every step towards an event: from initial idea to execution. No two days are the same!
Additionally, you'll work one evening per week. You'll be the first point of contact for instructors and participants and ensure that everything in the building runs smoothly. The evening is by arrangement on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. www.meervaart.nl/studio
PRODUCTION INTERNS SOUGHT FOR KUNSTBENDE NORTH HOLLAND
Kunstbende is the largest creative platform for young creators aged 12 to 19 throughout the Netherlands, where we encourage young people to discover and develop themselves creatively in the fields of: Dance, Music, Exhibitions, DJ, Film, Fashion, Language, & Theater. To support them, we organize an extensive program featuring workshops, masterclasses, coaching and a talent competition on the stage of Meervaart.
Kunstbende North Holland is looking for two interns (MBO & HBO level) who can do an internship for a minimum of 3 days per week from September 2026 through June 2027.
You are a social thinker and good at organizing things. You know how today's young people think, talk, communicate, scroll and where to find them. You have an interest in Art & Culture and our target audience: young people! As an intern at Kunstbende North Holland, you will be the main contact for all our participants and will work on producing all our activities. Additionally, you will help develop new ways to reach even more young people at Kunstbende by setting up new collaborations or developing online recruitment tools, and you will assist in organizing the North Holland Kunstbende preliminary round, pre-selections, various promotional activities, workshops, masterclasses, school tours and showcases.
Kunstbende North Holland works with many cultural organizations and media. These contacts and partnerships make an internship at Kunstbende North Holland valuable and offer a great opportunity to gain experience in both content and production knowledge, and to learn about the sector from the inside and out.

GEZOCHT PRODUCTIE STAGIAIR(E)S MEERVAART JONG
Meervaart Jong is er voor kinderen en jongeren van 2 t/m 16 jaar in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. Hier ontdekken zij hun talenten in theater, dansen, muziek en beeldende kunst. Zo geven zij vorm aan hun eigen verhalen op het podium, op papier of in een installatie.
In wekelijkse lessen werken ze samen en bouwen ze aan hun eigen werk en zelfvertrouwen. Een plek om te ontdekken, te creëren en elkaar te inspireren. Elk jaar sluiten alle groepen hun traject af met het Meervaart Jong Festival. Tussendoor presenteren zij hun werk tijdens bijzondere projecten en evenementen in Meervaart en in de stad en leggen zo een creatieve basis voor hun toekomst.
Voor seizoen 2026–2027 zoeken wij twee stagiairs (MBO & HBO) voor minimaal twee dagen per week.
Tijdens deze stage draai je volledig mee in het team en krijg je inzicht in het productieproces van jeugdactiviteiten binnen een theatercontext. Je ondersteunt bij de organisatie van lessen, projecten en evenementen en werkt mee aan draaiboeken en plannen van aanpak. Je helpt bij de project- en leerlingenadministratie, onderhoudt contact met ouders en docenten en denkt mee over jaarplanningen en roosters. Daarnaast ondersteun je bij promotie en werving en ben je aanwezig bij evenementen.
Eén middag of avond per week ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van een leslocatie. Je bent dan het eerste aanspreekpunt voor docenten, deelnemers en ouders.
Er is ruimte voor eigen initiatief en, indien gewenst, voor een onderzoek binnen je stage.
FINAL NOTE
Meervaart offers you a challenging and varied internship in the theater with plenty of responsibility and different tasks. Within the internship there is also room for deepening your skills and assignments from your education. For the internship you receive a monthly gross allowance of €450,- (based on 5 days per week), and you may sometimes attend Meervaart performances for free. We are looking for interns who can work independently, have good communication skills, have an affinity with art and culture, and are willing to work irregular hours (not a 9-5 job, sometimes working weekends/evenings). An internship is hard work. We do that too.
