Step behind the turntables and discover how you create your own sound. In Meervaart Jong's DJ lessons you'll learn to mix, beatmatch and work with professional DJ equipment. You'll discover how tracks are built, how to blend music seamlessly together and how to set the mood for an audience.
Beyond spinning records, you'll get to know music production and experiment with rhythm, samples and digital tools. It's all about creativity, musicality and developing your own style. Whether you're just starting out or already have experience: there's room to grow and try new things.
All groups conclude the season with a presentation at the Meervaart Jong Festival on May 21, 22 and 23, 2027 at Meervaart.

Groei mee bij Meervaart Jong
Bij Meervaart Jong kijken we niet alleen naar leeftijd, maar ook naar wie jij bent, wat je leuk vindt en hoe jij je ontwikkelt. Onze docenten begeleiden deelnemers actief en denken mee over welke groep, uitdaging of vervolgstap het beste past.
Er is ruimte om te groeien, nieuwe dingen te proberen en eventueel meerdere lessen te volgen. Aan het einde van het seizoen geeft de docent een advies door aan het Meervaart Jong-kantoor. Op basis daarvan kijken we samen welke groep of les het beste aansluit voor het volgende seizoen. Natuurlijk stemmen we dit altijd af met jou en je ouder of verzorger.
Daardoor kunnen we kinderen en jongeren écht begeleiden in hun talent, op hun eigen tempo en niveau.
