Ballet Advanced
In this class you'll deepen your ballet technique with jumps, pirouettes, strength and flexibility training. You work on posture, control, musicality and stage presence, while the exercises become increasingly challenging. Modern dance and improvisation are also part of the program, allowing you to learn how to combine technique with your own expression.
The lessons are taught at a faster pace and it is expected that you already have a foundation in ballet. This way you can continue building your technique, stage experience and confidence in dance.
Together with your group you work throughout the entire season towards a long, continuous performance that you present during the Meervaart Jong Festival. During this process you contribute ideas, rehearse intensively and experience what it's like to be part of a larger production.

Groei mee bij Meervaart Jong
Bij Meervaart Jong kijken we niet alleen naar leeftijd, maar ook naar wie jij bent, wat je leuk vindt en hoe jij je ontwikkelt. Onze docenten begeleiden deelnemers actief en denken mee over welke groep, uitdaging of vervolgstap het beste past.
Er is ruimte om te groeien, nieuwe dingen te proberen en eventueel meerdere lessen te volgen. Aan het einde van het seizoen geeft de docent een advies door aan het Meervaart Jong-kantoor. Op basis daarvan kijken we samen welke groep of les het beste aansluit voor het volgende seizoen. Natuurlijk stemmen we dit altijd af met jou en je ouder of verzorger.
Daardoor kunnen we kinderen en jongeren écht begeleiden in hun talent, op hun eigen tempo en niveau.
