Met de klas naar theater
Meervaart programs a broad range of productions each school year for both primary and secondary education. We select productions that connect with students' lived experience and engage thematically with what's happening now. This way, we create a theater experience that offers recognition, opens new perspectives, and creates space for classroom discussion.
School performances primary education
Meervaart introduces children from Amsterdam to the performing arts. For every age group, there is a sparkling, thrilling or moving performance, selected from a wide range of disciplines.
Upon request, a workshop or introduction is also possible. Since 2008, we have reached over 20,000 children this way.
In 2025-2026 we are offering six new performances. Our programme is bundled in the TDEA brochure, together with the programme of Theater De Krakeling, ITA, Bijlmer Parktheater, de Toneelmakerij, Podium Mozaïek and Danstheater Aya.
