REMLA
Meervaart Production (2023)
'REMLA' is a Meervaart Production in collaboration with Redo, Denden, Amsterdams Andalusian Orchestra, ICK and is supported by Theaterbureau de Mannen.
Dancers Redouan Ait Chitt and Denden Karadeniz are embarking on a unique collaboration with the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra (AAO) in the new autobiographical performance 'REMLA'. The dancers often find their identity in the world of hip-hop and breaking. Together with the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra, they begin a musical journey in search of a shared connection with their roots. Are their worlds really that different, or do they have more in common than they think?
