Meervaart Studio Foto Lab-expositie Public Intimacy bij No Man’s Art Gallery KIOSK
This exhibition is the result of work by the Meervaart Studio Foto Lab in collaboration with Foam and photographer Hanane El Ouardani.
In recent months, the young photographers developed their own projects within the Meervaart Studio Foto Lab. Through experimentation, reflection, and dialogue with one another, they explored themes that hold personal significance for them. Themes that were initially perhaps avoided—to escape clichés or expectations—resurfaced during the process itself. This created space to approach them anew and depict them in their own way. Throughout, one question remained central: do I find this interesting enough myself, and what does this say about me? The result of this search is visible in the group exhibition 'Public Intimacy'

In 'Public Intimacy', the works move between closeness and distance, between how we see ourselves and how we are seen by others. The photographers explore relationships with one another, with their bodies, with memories, and with the ways in which we are allowed or dare to be visible. Let yourself be taken along on personal stories, images, and perspectives. Come and discover how the personal and the public touch each other.
