Ophira is not only incredibly funny and charming; she also knows how to captivate an audience with her very personal stories.

'Leaving a Mark' by Canadian-American comedian Ophira Eisenberg is a dark, funny and deeply personal solo show.

In September 1944, during Operation Market Garden and the liberation of Nijmegen, a young Allied soldier fell in love with a woman from Nijmegen. That unlikely wartime romance would shape generations. Their youngest of six children, Ophira Eisenberg, returns to the Netherlands with a show about the marks we carry - on our bodies, in our families and through history.

By combining personal stories with sharp stand-up, 'Leaving a Mark' is a look at the scars that shape us. From childhood setbacks to near-fatal accidents, failed first loves and a battle with breast cancer; Ophira weaves together a survival story about resilience, humor in the face of pain and ultimately the absurdity of being human.

The show is different every evening through audience interaction via a scar competition: 'Scar Wars' (with a prize). A joyful celebration of imperfection and a show that makes people laugh, reflect and perhaps even wear their own scars a little more proudly.
