Aries Spears has been recognized since his teenage years as one of the most versatile and energetic comedians in the United States. Born in Chicago and raised in New Jersey, Spears took to the stage at just fourteen years old and quickly made a name for himself with his sharp observations, quick improvisational skills, and distinctive style.

His major breakthrough with a wide audience came as a regular cast member on the popular American sketch show Mad TV, where he appeared from season three through ten. There he developed a series of iconic characters and impressions of Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson, and Eddie Murphy, among others. With his own sketches, including the successful Talkin' American, Spears left a lasting mark on the program.

At a young age, he made an impression with performances on Def Comedy Jam and Showtime at the Apollo, after which he continued to develop himself in Los Angeles as an actor, writer, and comedian.
