Meervaart Theater has been the center of culture in Amsterdam Nieuw-West since 1977. In addition to about three hundred performances and theater shows per year, there are approximately one hundred national and international conferences and meetings held annually at Meervaart.
The unique location by the Sloterplas in Amsterdam is about five minutes from the Ring A10, situated between Schiphol and the city center. This makes Meervaart easily accessible, both by car and public transport.

What could be better than contributing directly to arts education for youth through the organization of a conference or event! In addition to being a theater and event location, we are also a Studio for young talent development and education. All profits from commercial rentals directly fund Meervaart Jong and Studio. Our arts education and talent development program is a crucial pillar of our versatile organization, which has official ANBI status (public benefit organization). Organizing a conference or event at Meervaart is Corporate Social Responsible and contributes to meaningful programs.
