About Meervaart Conference & Event

Our Theatre Halls offers a stage for every event!

Since 1977, De Meervaart has been the cultural centre of the Amsterdam Nieuw-West district. In 1999, the building was completely renovated and modern conference and meeting facilities were added. Besides staging about 300 theatre productions a year and producing its own youth educational art programs, De Meervaart also hosts about 150 national and international conferences, meetings and events annually.

Its unique prime location between the city centre of Amsterdam and the European hub of Schiphol Airtport, makes De Meervaart perfectly accessible both by car and public transport. The contemporary building overlooks one of the few lakes in Amsterdam the 'Sloterplas', with its beautiful park surroundings.

Meervaart Conference & Event offers meeting and conference rooms for 12 up to 800 people:

• conferences, events and trade fairs
• presentations, meetings and courses
• car shows, product launches, parties and dinners

By organsing your event at conference venue 'De Meervaart' you directly support young local talent in Amsterdam. In addition to being a Theatre and Conference venue 'De Meervaart' is also a Studio dedicated to developing and running educational art programs for young people. All revenues from our business enterprises contribute directly to 'Meervaart Studio' art and talent programs.
